Join us for CATA-LAUNCH!  We’re having a party to celebrate the East Austin Studio Tour, launch the very gorgeous E.A.S.T. catalog, and show appreciation for (and give catalogs and mini-swag to) all the wonderful participating artists, Friends of E.A.S.T., and donors.  CATA-LAUNCH IS BY INVITATION ONLY!  What??  Yes, it’s very exclusive!  Verrrry VIP!!!  Since this is a massive thank you to everyone who helps make the East Austin Studio Tour possible, you gotta join the Friends of E.A.S.T.!

We’ll have live t-shirt screen-printing from the great crew from Industry Screenprint;  a very excellent photobooth for anyone who’s ever wanted to grow up to be an astronaut;  scrumptious treats from Sugaplump Pastries;   delicious drinks brought to us from our friends at Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Sweet Leaf Tea (and served up by the bartenders with the mostest, Austin Personal Bartenders);  AND we’ll have a big, rollicking group show from East Austin Studio Tour artists to give you a taste of November’s tour.  And of course, MORE.


You may be wondering to yourself, “Who is this Friends of E.A.S.T.?”  Friends of E.A.S.T. is basically a bunch of really awesome people (so, if you’re reading this, you qualify) all coming together to support the East Austin Studio Tour with a small donation of $20 each.  E.A.S.T. is at its core a community event for people who care about Austin’s creative culture.  Joinin the Friends of E.A.S.T. is $20 for everyone across the board because we believe that great things happen when many give a little.  The support of more community members means a better catalog, more promotion, a bigger audience, and more impact.  In thanks for your support, every Friend of E.A.S.T. will receive a guaranteed copy of the 2011 E.A.S.T. catalog before it’s available to the public;  an invitation to Cata-Launch (our catalog launch party for Friends, studio tour artists, and sponsors); and … A STICKER!  A very, very cool sticker.  You also get bragging rights for helping the visual arts to thrive in our city, and the knowledge that we love you.
