The Utility Research Garden
is an arm of Shall We take Ourselves Seriously Incorporated. Only,
we’re not all
that incorporated and do occasionally take ourselves very lightly seriously
although not enough to have adopted a “style” that would
win us points with a glossy publication. We do though, make gardens,
and have done so for 13 years. And then we also grow plants. Actually,
we foster plants so that they can grow themselves. We mainly foster
the growth of monocarpic plants, which means that they live life, then
bloom and die. It’s a heroic way to live, I know, but not the
way that we live our lives. |
