I've lived in Austin for 15 years.
I call my studio the "In House Gallery". I work out of
my home and also use the space to hold art shows. My paintings are
very colorful and whimsical
using the same symbols and themes over and over again. The medium that
I work with is acrylic on canvas. I've also started an organization
called Smart Art. The concept of Smart Art is simple. Create a buzz,
manufacture a scene in which artists come together to support and inspire
each other. Artists are not only responsible for creating art, they're
responsible for stimulating each other and the community in which they
live. Responsible for inspiring the consumer to consume. Thus creating
a full circle which sustains a healthy and vibrant art scene. Smart
Art - is creating a scene. Smart Art - is taking the initiative. Smart
Art - is interactive. Smart Art - is resourceful. |
