Mr.
Schoenig is as well known for his hermitish reluctance to allow any
one in his studio as he is for his highly detailed
metal creatures. We are not normally open to the public, see it now
or never. Mr Shoenig works mostly in a revived ancient art form used
traditionally in the making of plate armor. This is a serious working
art studio, and he will be demonstrating a variety of techniques. This
studio is always a high point on the tour for visitors. Dramatic, loud
and dangerous, visitors must be wearing closed toe shoes and natural
fiber clothing – sparks and flame will be flying! If you have
earplugs bring them. Depending on techniques being shown a release
of liability form might need to be signed. Not being a naturally friendly
person, Mr. Shoenig reserves the right to throw anyone out that irritates
him! |
