I find endless inspiration in the physical world around us, I truly believe the Earth is the greatest palette. I use plants and other natural objects in my art, including these living walls. Through my business, Articulture Designs, I create sustainable landscape design and floral/plant design for green weddings. This focus on sustainability carries over into my visual art. I enjoy positioning cold, unyielding elements—such as reclaimed steel—within the living, hanging walls and plantscapes I create. This echoes the same juxtaposition we all experience every moment, usually without realizing: maneuvering through a human-made world imposed upon the natural world.
