During his National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, Livingston invented a range of neon colors so vast, they seem infinite in their exquisite opalescence. He accomplished this by bridging the gap between what was commercially available and what was technically possible. He calls these stunning luminous tubes “Nightsticks”.

A few of Ben’s “big-shot” collectors:
Mick Jagger, NY, NY
Motorola, Austin, TX
Stephen Antonakos, NY, NY
Lance Armstrong, Austin, TX
The Joffery Ballet, Chicago, IL
Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX
Chief Wilma Mankiller, Stillwell, OK
Sidley Austin Brown and Wood NY, NY
Citizen’s Memorial Hospital, Victoria, TX
The Austin Convention Center, Austin, TX
Jacques Prevert Library, Cherbourg , France
