Nestled in the heart of a work/life balance and wellness center, our year round exhibition space displays the visual art of local women artisans. We view artistic expression as an integral part of holistic health, balance, and wellness. Court Lurie I create from a place that lacks premeditation and employs experiential investigation more so than delivery of intellectual ideology. Moved by the intrigue of the present moment, I produce works that evolve intuitively. Emotions that arise during the mark making process are embraced and incorporated into each piece. My work feels everything and experiences everything. Color, form and texture dialogue to create a conversation that compositionally comes alive in until balance and harmony are achieved. |
