Studies in Natural Perfumery. This is our third year on the Tour and we’re pleased to welcome those interested in fragrant plant extracts. As in past years, we’ll demonstrate certain extraction methods and bring out select precious plant extracts for sampling. This year, visitors will be able to register for a schedule of classes to be offered by popular demand (topics will include semiochemicals, thujone, resins, ionones, etc.). The instructor will be on hand to discuss these classes and answer questions. The focus of the series shall be certain technical and conceptual aspects of botanical fragrance-molecular expressions of living Nature.
