I am a proud 5th generation Texan. I began kiln forming in 2003,
and as a student at Pilchuck Glass School I pursued the idea of spirit
- and gained the technical tools needed to express this quietly powerful
theme in glass.
My artwork seeks to explore the spirit of self through the use of
three-dimensional sculpture. The sculptures are in the shapes of
houses, which represents the spirit of the person and exposes a glimpse
of the emotions that are being portrayed. I use color, texture, and
the reflection of light to define each emotion.
I also make architectural glass which include sinks, tables, and
lighting.
