Why is it called Pump Project? There really is a pump, it’s big and industrial, but it’s also sculptural. We think it’s neat. As for the project, the building is a project, running the space is a project, and our artists are always in the midst of some, well… project. Besides a pump and a project, we have studios with over 30 artists working in every medium from oil paint to glass to installation, and a gallery currently showing the Pump Project Members Show. Come see us in the big, yellow warehouse at 7th Street and Shady Lane!
