The Painterly Handsomes are Troy Allen, Chris Holloway, Cody Scrogum and Frederick Tabares. Founded in the spring of 2006, the Painterly Handsomes are returning for their 2nd effort at E.A.S.T. Though the four individual artists have differences in their own disciplines, they come together to develop ideas in popular culture, current events, classic portraiture, urban art and postmodern concepts. While they trade these ideas as a group, they have dedicated the past year to visually exploring these stimuli individually and having some serious fun along the way. They hope to include visual collaboration in their future efforts.
