I’ve spent the past nine months working on a 62 page comic book detailing one young man’s quest to stop the gentrification of East Austin. Throughout the book, our hero fights the good fight, armed with bitter wit and a daydreaming mindset, and he hopes to stop the construction of lofts and the influx of yuppies into East Austin that is pushing out long time residents and forever changing the tone of the neighborhoods. Along the way, he meets a mysterious masked woman who also hails from East Austin. Will sparks fly? Will East Austin be saved? Is anything worth saving?
