Micah Evans began working with glass in 1999 in Seattle, Washington. He has traveled the nation teaching and learning the never-ending possibilities of glass as a medium for sculpture. Micah most recently spent 2 years at the University of Miami as a resident artist and instructor. Micah’s work is a constant reflection of himself and his surroundings. Not limited to glass, his sculptures incorporate found objects, metal and pigment. With his traveling days coming to an end, Micah now resides in Austin, Texas, and works out of the Pump Project Art Complex.
