Leanne Venier studied painting and ceramics in Italy, Canada and the U.S. Much of the inspiration for her work comes from her dreams, and her abstract paintings resonate with the energy of the unconscious, balanced with sophisticated color and design. She has begun receiving committee-selected invitations to show her work in Europe and elsewhere, one of which has described her paintings as “revealing the power and brightness of colors through the different effects of form, texture, design, and the magnetic energy from the images which spring from the canvas.” Her ceramics are distinctive for their vibrant colors and unique design.
