When he is not busy managing Pump Project Art Complex, Josh Green
transforms bits of molten glass into whirling vortexes, sparkly spheres,
and translucent globes encapsulating suspended curls of color. He
continues to perfect his flameworking skills, creating pieces that
are both beautiful and complex. Josh began working with glass after
receiving his BFA in sculpture in 1996 from the Massachusetts College
of Art. After moving to Austin, he co-founded the art space that
became Pump Project so he and his fellow artists would have an affordable
place to work.
