I love to paint. I didn’t always paint. I drew. I studied
neuroscience in college and got my Ph.D. in sociology focusing on
Latin American demography. Feeling a void after all of this, I began
to paint and never stopped. Now I am happy. I can’t help it.
I’m nostalgic. I like to paint: robots and space oddities from
the likes of a Kurt Vonnegut novel, doll bits, circus curios, birdless
cages, cageless birds, flowers in my hair, women, stripes, old clocks,
well-used luggage, map fragments pieced together, masks, etcetera.
