As I was wandering around my garden recently, I saw a brilliant red jumping spider. He was scouting out the soft green leaves on a velvet leaf mallow plant. What a sight to behold! I spoke to this tiny creature. He sensed my presence and we shared a moment. I’ve been looking for him ever since. This is what I paint.
