GERMAINE KELLER received her BFA from the University of Michigan and MFA from Wayne State University. After living in NYC for 30 years she moved to Austin where she works at Women in the Studios @Idea and plans to open a gallery in East Austin. “My work begins with a manipulated digital photograph of a scene which I construct. Linear computer drawings or wire constructions are then overlaid until the work contains its own inherent integrity and reveals a complete sensory and visual event. I am concerned with the inherent form in randomness; how we perceive order in chaos.
