Irony. The unseen catalyst. Mundane items given Iconic status. The ring of fire and Mexican depictions of the Virgin are knocking on the door. There’s a simple wooden chair begging for a portrait. And in the future is a totem pole, the likes of which the world has never seen. There’s sure to be a bicycle in it somewhere. All elements of the work of an artist born and raised in Austin, with a healthy caffeine addiction.
