David de Lara is an artist
whose unmistakable style and brash approach has continued to make
people take notice. For most of the past decade
he has drawn and painted figurative work and portraits of women.
Many have wondered who the women are, but he doesn’t set out
to capture anyone in particular. His girls are like dolls used to
symbolize the human condition and share thoughts, ideas, feelings,
and reactions to events in his life.
