Big Medium is an organization that has for the last five years operated under the name of Bolm Studios, and has brought to Austin such celebrated events as the Texas Biennial and the East Austin Studio Tour. In addition to these events, we have produced regular exhibitions in our 950 square foot gallery. With great excitement we are in the final steps of securing our non-profit status, which should mean more opportunities and resources to further our goal of promoting the visual arts in Texas. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for a diverse and growing viewership to engage with and experience the visual arts in Austin, and to give local, national and international artists an intimate space in which they can experiment, and exhibit art in central Texas outside the commercial setting.
