Andrew Long’s work has been exhibited across the U.S. and Europe, including commissioned work by the Institute of Contemporary Art (London) and Museum of Fine Arts (Houston). He is the recipient of numerous awards and grants, most recently a Byrdcliffe Colony/Pollack-Krasner Fellowship, and is represented by McMurtrey Gallery (Houston), Conduit Gallery (Dallas), and Plus Gallery (Denver). His work was recently included in Texas Paint: Out of Abstraction at Arlington Museum, and at David Lusk Gallery (Memphis) and is currently featured in New American Painting, Edition 72. His studio will feature paintings and photographs that combine natural elements and use of color in an abstract context.
