Those who I have filled my life with are the reason I chose to become a painter. This started my junior year of college after becoming friends with such an incredible group of artists at my university. I had also become uninterested with drawing and painting inanimate objects. As these individuals enter and leave my life, I want to show them the effect they have on me through my ability to paint them. We live, die and interact with each other, and this development within my life has become most significant to me.
