Oil Painting

One night, about four years ago, a group of us got together for a bbq/pool party that went late into the night, and turned into a marathon game of Marco Polo. My brother took pictures that night - this series comes from those. I complete each small painting (5" x 7") in one session, forcing a quick, gestural representation, one that mimics the movement and unconstrained, carefree fun of the game and that night.
